Our branch turns 20 years since its inception! 🎂🎉

We were honoured to receive recognition at the National AGM and Award Ceremony in Kingston last week.

Our President Dania Chacaltana, Past President Sharon Crowe and new member and 2026 Admin of the year finalist, Sophie, were in attendance representing our members.

🎤 I’m so honored to be back with the EvnoiaGroup in Toronto for the 12th Global Personal Assistant & Executive Assistant Summit on October 22nd–23rd, 2026.

My keynote will be The Future is Now: Assistants as Activators, Advocates, and Allies.

I will be focusing on the increasing power and influence of the administrative role throughout the world. My plan is to challenge and inspire all of our attendees to rise beyond the status quo, working as respected and trusted contributors within their organizations.

As Chairperson, I have the privilege of facilitating meaningful discussions inspired by all of our talented and expert speakers.

On its 20th year anniversary, the Barrie/Simcoe County branch is at a pivotal time and your participation is important!

We are calling a special meeting to discuss key Executive Committee vacancies identified at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on April 22.
These roles are critical to maintain our status as an active and recognized branch and continue operations. If they are not fulfilled, the branch will sadly need to close its doors.

We are issuing a FINAL CALL for interest and nominations for the following positions:

Treasurer
Membership Coordinator
Branch Administrator
Events Coordinator

If you have ever considered becoming a volunteer, this is the perfect time to step into a volunteer leadership role.
