🔥 LAST BBQ OF THE SUMMER! ☀️🍔 🌭 🥗

Tomorrow is our FINAL weekly BBQ Fundraiser of the season, and we want to go out with a bang!

Before we fire up the grill one last time, we want to share a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this summer so special:

OPSEU/SEFPO Rainbow Alliance (RAA) for donating our brand-new BBQ unit that kept us grilling all season long! 🌈

Parents First for their generous food donation of delicious hamburgers and hot dogs! 🍔🌭

Our Incredible Volunteers who showed up week after week to pitch in, prep, grill, and serve with a smile. 🙌🏿🙌🏾🙌🏽

Our Weather Heroes who stepped up with monetary donations on the weeks rain forced us to cancel. 🌧️❤️

ALL OF YOU who dropped by to grab lunch, catch up, and support our new hub and programming!

We are firing up the grill every single Thursday this summer from 11 AM to 2 PM. Whether you’re working nearby or just in the area, swing by the rear of 3-60 Bellfarm Rd (beside the YMCA) to grab some delicious BBQ and support the UPlift Black Centre.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. 🧡

Recently, our trainees had the opportunity to give back through a hands-on community project in partnership with UPlift Black. Together, they put their skills to work while making a meaningful impact beyond the jobsite.

Projects like these are about more than construction, they’re about teamwork, growth, confidence, and building stronger communities together.

We’re proud of our trainees for showing up with dedication, professionalism, and heart every step of the way.
