When we replace assumptions with understanding and provide people with the right tools, accommodations, and support, we create opportunities for everyone to thrive.

This month, let's celebrate different ways of thinking and learning while continuing to build communities where people feel understood, included, and valued for their strengths.

Mental health challenges, trauma, substance use, housing instability, and other barriers can increase vulnerability to criminal justice involvement. Support, connection, and early intervention can help reduce harm and create pathways toward stability and recovery.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s move beyond stigma and make sure people have access to the resources, support, and care they need, when they need it.
