We are coming to the end of our Toy Drive and Christmas Sponsorship Program. At this time, we are no longer accepting applications. We had over 100 kiddos sign up, and we currently have a waitlist.

🌟 A Bittersweet Goodbye to 56 Dunlop Street West 🌟

After five unforgettable years filled with memories, miracles, healing, and hope, The 705 will be saying goodbye to our current home at 56 Dunlop Street West as of August 31st.

This decision does not come lightly. Due to a continued lack of stable funding and resources, we are no longer able to sustain this location. But while our doors at 56 Dunlop may be closing, The 705 is not going anywhere. We remain a registered charity and will continue to show up for our community in meaningful ways through outreach, partnerships, support, and purpose-driven action.

This space has been more than just walls, it’s been a refuge, a meeting place, a launching pad for recovery, connection, and transformation. It has witnessed laughter, tears, heartache, breakthroughs, and healing. To everyone who has made 56 Dunlop a place of warmth and welcome:

To the volunteers, donors, community partners, our incredible landlord, students, group facilitators, board of directors, fundraising committee members, attendees, loud and silent supporters; you brought life to this space.

Though our next steps will look different, our purpose remains the same: to offer hope, connection, and support to those facing addiction and mental health challenges. We are deeply grateful for your continued belief in our mission and we hope you’ll walk with us into what’s next.

🎉 Abby’s Super Party Was a Huge Success! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us, your presence made the day extra special! Abby had an amazing time, and seeing her smile made all our hearts full. 💛

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers, The Backroad Revival, and every single person who donated, showed up, and showed love. Your support means the world.

We are incredibly grateful to Mainstream Therapy, a compassionate local practice that provides vital mental health services to our community, for stepping up as a sponsor for our upcoming event in support of sweet Abby this Saturday at The 705.

The 705 is organizing a special fundraiser in support of a brave young girl named Abby. Recently celebrating her 5th birthday, Abby is courageously facing cancer for the second time.

We are inviting local businesses to sponsor this heartfelt event, taking place on Saturday, June 21st. Your sponsorship will directly support Abby and her family as they navigate the challenges of travel to and from SickKids, time away from work, and other unexpected expenses.

In appreciation of your generosity, your business will receive:

- Recognition on our social media platforms
- A charitable tax receipt for your contribution

100% of funds from each sponsorship will go directly to Abby’s family.

The Thrive Program is a daytime outpatient addiction treatment program designed to support individuals in the early stages of recovery. This 16-day program is built on evidence-based methods and tools, offering practical education and support in a structured, accessible format.
