Barrhead Communities In Bloom

10/15/2026

🌻 Hey Barrhead ! How tall did YOUR sunflower grow? 🌻

We've already received an impressive entry measuring 8 feet 8.5 inches! 😲🌻 Look at that sunflower!

Now we want to see what all our other young gardeners have grown!

❄️ Before the snow flies and the sunflowers topple over, don't forget to send us your photos and measurements!

🏆 Remember, there are TWO prizes to be won!
Prize #1 – Tallest Sunflower
Prize #2 – Random draw from ALL entries!

And remember, your sunflower doesn't have to be the tallest to win! Big or small, we want to see them all!

Post your pictures and measurements and tag Barrhead Communities In Bloom !

🌻 Plant it. Grow it. Share it. Let's bloom together!

WOOHOO!!
Way to go Barthead🥰🥰
Whether you helped at an event, pulled weeds in the back alleys, picked up litter, planted beautiful plants to beautify your yards and gardens you all helped Barrhead to achieve this outstanding honour of 4 out of 5 blooms for our community.
So proud of our small town 🥰🥰

Had to stop and visit Barraconda today
If you’re in the area of the pool stop and check out all the awesome art work by artists young and old
All artists of all ages are welcome to add their artwork to the Barrhead Rock Snake. 🐍
*** Please make sure to seal your project for the outdoor weather.
Krylon UV resistant clear coating works great as well as the Rustoleum 2x clear coat.

So if you’re by the ATB check out the petunias
There will be lots of seeds if you’re interested
Please treat the plants gently when you’re harvesting the seed pods
Seed pods that are brown like in the second picture are ripe, and the seeds are ready to be harvested
You might even find a strawberry or 2 to nibble on.
Please help yourself to some bunny tail grass as well
They’re so soft. 🥰
Enjoy

The planters at ATB are still doing well
A little girl told me the strawberries are soooo good. Lol
And they are. 🍓
The lavender smells amazing.
The bunny tail grass is so soft and it’s hard to resist touching them. 😊
