Last week was a monumental one at the Banff Food Bank. We served 108 individuals in a single day—a record-breaking number of visitors since our doors first opened in 1991.

Join the Neighbor-to-Neighbor: The May 8 Mission

At the Banff Food Bank, we are dedicated to fostering a stronger, more resilient community. Beyond providing essential nutrition, our mission is to ensure that every neighbor we serve is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.

We fill a unique and vital role in our town, ensuring that fresh, healthy food is accessible to everyone. To continue this work, we are excited to launch our latest fundraising initiative: Neighbor-to-Neighbor: The May 8 Mission.

From April 8 to May 8, we are calling on our community to help us stock our shelves and sustain our programs. Whether you volunteer your time or make a contribution, every action helps us put nutritious food on the tables of our neighbors who are struggling with the high cost of living.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sarah Elmeligi - Banff-Kananaskis MLA and everyone who participated in Saturday's event.
Her advocacy as a community champion helped bring much-needed attention to the vital work being done across our region.
Because of your generosity, the Banff Food Bank, Bow Valley Food Bank (Canmore), and the Îyârhe Nakoda Food Bank received an incredible wave of support.

💙 Spreading the Love and much more in Banff.
The team at the Banff Food Bank has been keeping extra busy lately! Between sorting donations and supporting our neighbors, we have been looking for new ways to ensure everyone in our community has access to the essentials.
We are thrilled to announce that we successfully applied for a special grant to bring essential menstrual hygiene products!
Community Collaboration is so important.
Because we believe in the power of sharing, we have teamed up with our friends at the Banff Public Library.
We have shared these hygiene supplies with them to make sure these items are accessible in more than one location around town.
Whether you're stopping by for a food hamper or picking up your next great read, we want to make sure you have what you need to feel your best.
Why This Matters
• Accessibility: Hygiene products are a necessity, not a luxury.
• Partnership: Working with the library helps us reach more people where they are.
