🌿 What if the view outside your window inspired what’s on your plate?

At The Juniper Bistro, food is more than a dining experience — it’s a connection to place. 🏔️

Guided by the Nature Positive and Climate Action Trail to Tomorrow, the team has embraced a plant-rich approach that celebrates seasonal ingredients, creativity, and care for the landscape they call home. 🌱

From spring morels and summer herbs to autumn squash and winter preserves, every dish is shaped by the rhythms of Alberta’s seasons and a commitment to reducing environmental impact.

✨ As Hotel & Bistro Manager Kristine Godescheit puts it: “We live, operate, and play in a national park. It only makes sense for us to care deeply about the environment.”

Did you know there are 73 solar arrays in the town of Banff, including 9 on commercial buildings?

Solar is quietly becoming part of the landscape — helping businesses lower their environmental footprint while contributing to a more resilient local energy system.

This is what it means to walk the Nature Positive and Climate Action trail to tomorrow in Banff.
