We are very worried about Elly May.

After 7 years with her family, this sweet hound girl urgently needs a new home due to serious health issues affecting her owners. They love her, but can no longer provide the care she needs, and time is running short.

📍 Located in St. Thomas, Ontario

Elly May is a beautiful 9-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound, about 30 kg (66 lbs), who has spent years being the queen of her castle. She has no idea her world is about to change.

She loves people, loves kids, loves lounging on her porch couch, and takes her neighborhood watch duties very seriously. Delivery truck coming? Elly knows. Cat across the street? Elly knows. Dog walking by? Elly definitely knows. 😄

💛 Loves people and children
💛 Loves car rides and Timbits
💛 Crate trained
💛 Enjoys her backyard and sunny porch naps
💛 Loyal, funny, and full of personality

🚫 No dogs
🚫 No cats

Because Elly May needs to be the only pet, finding the right home may take extra shares. That's why we're asking for your help.

She doesn't deserve to lose everything she's ever known and end up in a stressful situation. She deserves a soft landing, a comfy couch, and a family who will love her through her golden years.

Please share for Elly May. Your share could be the one that changes her future. 🐾❤️

Available for adoption in Erin, Ontario

📢 AROOO! Is anyone out there listening?! Shelby here! 🐾
The shelter humans keep asking why I'm still waiting to be adopted... and honestly, I'm wondering the exact same thing! I've got my bags packed, my favourite tennis ball ready, and a whole lot of love just waiting for you! 🎒
If you love a dog with a big personality and a lot to say, I'm your guy! Here is my official resume:
* I am goofy, smart, love meeting new people, and am incredibly motivated by snacks (pro-tip: keep the treats coming and I’ll learn anything!)
* My hobbies include playing endless fetch, working on my outdoor leash skills, and singing you the song of my people.
* My dream home has a fenced yard to run in, someone who works from home or is around a lot, and absolutely NO cats.

I’ve been waiting 142 days to show a family how loyal I can be. Will you please come down to the shelter and ask to see me ❤️at the Upper Credit Humane Society

ADOPTED!
Hi, my name is Piper! I came to the shelter as an unclaimed stray with another dog, and now I’m learning what it means to just be a dog , on my own—like getting into cars, playing with toys, and building my confidence. I’m still discovering the world, but one thing I already know? Cuddling is my favorite. I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can share all my love with you.
