Baddeck Lions Club Chartered since June 11, 1951 with currently 47 active members. Where There's a NEED, There's a LION. Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller.

And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities – with unmatched integrity and energy. Lions International is the World's Largest Service Club Organization with 46,000 clubs and 1.4+ million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local commu

nities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet. Baddeck Lion’s Club Meets every second Thursday of the month beginning at 6:00 pm at Greenwood United Church on Twining St, Baddeck. New members are always welcome. The Baddeck Lions Club held their 16th annual Kidston Island Beach Curling Classic Fundraiser this past Saturday at the Baddeck Curling Club. It was a day filled with play, fun, laughter and great food.

We would like to thank everyone who helped making this day a success.

Your Baddeck Lions Club wants to thank you for the generosity you have shown during the annual Christmas Wish Project Fundraiser. With your help we were able to make Christmas a magical time again for many children in search for one.

Speaking of our great community's generosity. We have mailed out the letters for this year's, Kidston Island Curling Classic Fundraiser, so keep an eye open for those in your mailbox. The 16th edition of this great event will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at the Baddeck Curling Club.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Annual Baddeck Lions Club ‘Tis the Season Gala! Your support, energy, and holiday spirit made the night truly special.

We’re grateful for this amazing community and for all who helped make the event such a success—donators for the auction (various Lions Club Members as well as Shauna MacDonald, Judi MacDonald, Grace Brown, Paul Whitehead, Barb Stokes), performers (Brett Santacona), donators for the door prices (Flying Kite Artisan Shop, Vicar's View, Breton Brewing Co.), the Inverary Resort on Baddeck Bay, more than generous donations from private donors during the gala and every guest who joined us to celebrate the season.
All proceeds of this gala go towards the Kidston Island Beach 🏖️
