🎄 Operation Shoebox: Share the Joy 🎁 This Christmas, as I open the doors to my new store in Baddeck, I’m also opening my heart to our community. On Christmas Day, I’ll be hosting a free holiday dinner at the shop—and I’d love to help make the season a little brighter for families in need.

If you're facing a tough time and would like a gift-filled shoebox for your child, I’m now accepting applications. Each box will be lovingly packed with small treasures to bring joy, comfort, and creativity.

We’re hoping to include:
🧸 A small stuffed animal or toy
✏️ Crayons, pencils, or markers
📘 A coloring book or storybook
🧤 Warm mittens or socks
🪥 A toothbrush and hygiene items
🍬 A few treats or snacks
💌 A handwritten note of encouragement

I’ll be fundraising from now until Christmas to make this possible. If you’d like to receive a box, donate, or help pack and deliver, please reach out. Together, we can make sure every child feels seen, loved, and celebrated this season.

I am running a Operation Stuff a Shoebox project for Aylesford, greenwood and Kingston area. I am looking for families that have children who are in need.
I have many families that are requesting boxes that are homeless and housed but in severe need. Some are just having a hard year and this will lighten up their day. This is not meant to be a “just needs” gift, although it will include some much needed items.

Donations are welcome.
I will be in the Greenwood mall on Thursday at the Greenwood Mall Farmers Market. I will be selling muffins and cookies in order to raise money for my project. I would love to have donations specifically for children, or gift cards for Dollarama, Walmart and Giant Tiger.

Current list of examples of needs for young children are:

At the Greenwood Mall Farmers Market I am selling baked goods to raise money for the operation stuff a Shoebox. Donate or just buy. $4 each for a good pack of muffins.
