As water levels continue to increase across the watershed, and more recently within the larger river systems (Vermilion, Onaping, Whitson, Wanapitei) Conservation Sudbury continues to monitor the rate of rise within these systems across our various monitoring stations. This information may be of value to residents living in flood-prone areas, when assessing current flood risk.

These are the rates of rise observed through the day yesterday and into this morning (8am to 8am). Throughout the day, we have seen a decrease in the hourly rate or rise at most sites due to the dry and cooler temperatures.
