Our junior optimists made enough Valentine’s for all the residents at Age Care nursing home.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our very first movie night. We had 16 kids show up! We filled a box with food for the food bank and our Sunshine Optimist kids raised 42.25 for their club!

Thank you everyone who attended our first movie night. It was a great night (once we got everything up and running) and we hope to see everyone again in the future!

Last night the kids decorated snowflakes to hang up in the hallways at 2 nursing homes. What talented kids we have! I wish I had their creativity. ❤️

I couldn’t be more proud of my niece and my daughter today! Thank you to the Aylmer Optimist Aylmer Optimist Club - Ontario for donating a wreath to the Sunshine Junior Optimist Club. What an honour for these two. Danielle Howe

Our kids had a blast last night painting pumpkins. We had ten left so we donated them to McGregor Public school for them to paint pink and raise $ for breast cancer awareness.

Our Sunshine Junior Optimist Club kids raised $270 for the kids help phone! Way to go!! The kids also went on a walk for the kids help phone at our last meeting. 😁

In January the Sunshine club made these beautiful Valentine cards for Chartwell and Carressant Care nursing homes. They sure brought a lot of joy to the residents today! They also got to tie dye their club shirts.
