Hey everyone! đź‘‹

This is my mom, Loice Love—my very first role model. She’s taught me strength, resilience, and to believe in myself even when I couldn’t see the path ahead.

Standing beside us is Phiona Z Durrant, founder of the Aurora Black Community Association. We had never met before, but she saw one of my dance videos on Facebook and believed in me enough to invite me to perform at an event in Ontario.

That moment reminded me that one opportunity can change the direction of a young person’s life.

Sometimes all it takes is one person who sees your potential before you do.

That’s one of the reasons Youth Chat Sphere exists—to share real stories, celebrate young people, and create conversations that inspire others to step into their purpose.

Every young person has a voice.
Every young person has a story.
Every young person deserves someone who believes in them.

✨ Has someone ever opened a door for you because they believed in your potential?

Share your story in the comments, or tag someone who has encouraged you. Let’s celebrate the people who help young people dream bigger.

Murungi Carleen here! đź‘‹

I love dancing and expressing myself through the arts.

Recently, I had the honour of being invited to Ontario as a youth advocate and performer. It was an incredible experience that reminded me how powerful it is when someone believes in a young person’s potential.

That’s why Youth Chat Sphere exists.

This is a space where young people can be heard, discover their strengths, and grow together through honest conversations, creativity, and shared experiences.

💬 I’d love to hear from you:

• What do you love to do?
• What talent or passion are you exploring?
• If you could change one thing for young people today, what would it be?

Let’s build a community where we encourage one another, celebrate opportunities, and inspire positive change.

A special thank you to Aurora Black Community Association for this amazing opportunity and for believing in young voices.

Hey friends!

So while I am in Aurora for the Black History Gala (which was such a vibe! Yet to share events), I also got a chance to explore one of the malls—and I had to take these photos. Not just for the likes, but because moments like these remind me how much I love fashion, color, poses, and expressing myself through style.

Truth is, I’ve always said I want to be a psychiatrist—and I still do—but one day I asked my mom: “Can I have a plan B too? Like… what if I also want to be a model, do brand collabs, and see myself on walls in malls?”She didn’t laugh or shut it down. She said: “Let’s try it.”That’s how we ended up in Aurora—me performing at a Gala, but also capturing this side of me that LOVES modeling and creating content.

This is your reminder: You don’t have to choose just one dream. Explore all your passions. Speak about them. Try them. Show up for them. And slowly… the world starts to notice.

So let’s chat:
Do you have a plan B career or secret dream?
How do you communicate your creative side to your parents or teachers?
If a brand could see your work today, what would you want them to know?

Drop your thoughts below and tag a friend who’s exploring something new!

Hey guys! Welcome to Youth Chat Sphere! So I just touched down in Toronto for the Black History Gala—I’m here as a youth advocate and performing artist, and I’m honestly so excited!

But this page isn’t just about me—it’s about us. Whether you’re someone who’s chill and goes with the flow, or you’re always looking for new stuff to try—this space is for you. Here, we’ll talk about:
• Stuff we actually enjoy (and what we don’t!) •How to find fun activities and cool events •How to ask your parents for support (without it being awkward lol) •And how to take your shot when opportunities show up!

This is gonna be a space where we keep it real, inspire each other, and grow together. I’ll be sharing more about the Gala soon, but in the meantime—What do YOU love to do?

If you could do anything right now—what would it be? Drop it in the comments, I wanna hear from you!
