FSC license UPDATE for fishery using Dipnet, Rod and Reel and Gillnet are available at the band office.
Species are Sockeye Salmon Thompson River to Bonaparte River.
Use of Gillnet (Mesh size Min: 8 inches) is permitted from the Portions of Sawmill Creek to Texas Creek: Portions of Thompson River to Bonaparte River.
This license will run from Thursday August 19, 2026, to Wednesday August 26, 2026 ENDS TODAY AT 23:59.
Chinook Salmon is open until September 7, 2026
If you are unable to pick up a fishing license at the Band office, take a piece of photo ID with you and your status card while fishing.

We had so much fun yesterday at our Kids Fun Day event. I think this was our biggest turnout yet. It was awesome seeing so many happy faces!
A big thank you to the Citxw Nlaka'pamux Assembly for helping with food and prizes! Thank you to Brenda at BFL for donating a couple prizes for our event again this year.
AND another big thank you to Kyle at Mile High Party Rentals who supplies the awesome Inflatables for our events.
We are looking forward to planning next year's event.
