A reminder that the 2026 Annual General Meeting is tomorrow, October 4th, at 7 pm at the Arnprior Library. We have a very exciting agenda this year - we will be voting in new board members, seeking volunteers for the upcoming year, and announcing the Spring 2027 musical!

If you are unable to attend in person, or you would like more information about our open board positions, please comment on this post or send a direct message and we will provide more information. We hope to see you there!

Our AGM is open to EVERYONE! If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about us, getting involved in volunteering or joining our team, we would love to see you there!

🎭 WE’RE LOOKING FOR DIRECTORS & A SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER! 📱

Two Rivers Musical Productions is currently accepting applications for two exciting volunteer opportunities!

🎬 Call for Directors (2027 Season & Beyond)
We’re inviting expressions of interest from budding and seasoned theatre directors (and assistant directors) interested in leading a future production. Whether you have a dream show for 2027 or a vision for a future season, we’d love to hear from you!

Your submission should include:
• The musical you’d like to direct (or assistant direct)
• Why you’re passionate about the show
• Why it’s a good fit for Two Rivers
• A brief summary of your directing and theatre experience
• Your vision for the production
• Whether your proposal is for 2027, a future season, or either
• Confirmation that you’re available to direct if selected (our production season runs January through the end of May)

📱 Social Media Officer
We’re also looking for a creative volunteer to join our Board as our Social Media Officer! This role includes creating promotional content, designing graphics in Canva, photographing rehearsals and performances, helping manage our social media channels, and attending Board meetings.

Meet Paul!

Paul is a classically trained Tenor and Violinist. Early credits include playing bass for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; and technical roles in Cotton Patch Gospel, Listen to the Wind, Colours in the Dark, and Oedepus Rex (Saunders SS). Afterwards he helped found the community choir “The London Singers” with conductor Mr. David B. Weaver – a group dedicated to bring together youth, community, a professional orchestra and soloitsts to perform great works such as Fauré Requiem, Rutter Mass of the Children, Haydn The Creation, and more. More recently he was the Sound Lead for Xanadu (TRMP), played Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables (TRMP), and played Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress (TRMP), and has participated with the CAMMAC choir.

Paul is thrilled to have his daughter Alyssa join him on stage for the third year in a row!
