Sharing is caring 😻

We believe that when you’re blessed, that you should bless others when you can!

We’re grateful to the work that the Arnprior & District Food Bank Inc.does for our community and are happy to share excess supplies when we can 💕🐾

🐱 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗢 Arnprior Regional Cat Rescue! 🐾✨

We want to send a special thank-you to our compassionate friends and fellow local charity, the Arnprior Regional Cat Rescue! 💛

When they have an abundance of pet supplies, they generously share their extra cat food, tasty treats, and litter with our food bank to help keep local furry family members happy and fed. 🐈📦

🐱 While pet supplies are not a regular item we carry on our shelves, it is always a wonderful bonus when we have some pet supplies available to offer pet-owning families during their visits!

🤝 𝗣𝗮𝘄𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: 🐾 Thank you to the Arnprior Regional Cat Rescue team for looking out for local pets and their families!

It takes a village, and we are so grateful for community partners who help us care for every member of the household! 🐾🍁

Charitable giving 😻

Did you know that Federal public servants have the ability to donate to registered charities through the annual Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC)?

In our inaugural year of being a registered charity, we appreciate your consideration as a potential donation partner this year!

How to give?

The GCWCC allows for one-time contributions via credit card, bi-weekly payroll deductions or monthly donations so you can choose the option best for you.

Search us up by our Charity Registration #: 749129201RR0001 to get started!

More information can be found here: https://www.canada.ca/en/campaign/charitable/how-to-donate.html

Not a public servant? Give us a like or share because together we make a difference 🐾💕

Giving thanks 🍂💕🐾

Happy Thanksgiving!
We’re so grateful today and everyday, to everyone who has a hand in making our rescue what it is.

To our volunteers and directors who behind the scenes coordinate events and adoptions, spay & neuter clinics, fundraising, supply distribution and so much more.

To our fosters, who open their homes up to cats and kittens who otherwise would have no where else to go. You open your hearts and homes and welcome them in like a member of the family. Your time, effort and dedication is unmatched and we appreciate you.

To our community partners who supply us with food & litter donations, provide us with locations to hold events and spay/neuter drop off locations and the support to do so.
As well as to our vet clinics who provide us with phenomenal care & compassion.

To our adopters, who provide kitties a second chance by adopting from a rescue. Your patience, love and devotion to providing them with a happily ever after warms our hearts.

And lastly, to our supporters to whom none of this would be possible without.

Your donations, your likes/shares, your support of our fundraisers and your kind words supporting our work mean the world to us. We truly could not do what we do without people like you in our corner 😻

What are you thankful for today? 🍂💕🐾

Look who’s been adopted! 😻

Sweet Cinco captured the hearts of so many and we’re happy to share that he’s gone home to his forever home!

From an outdoor cat after a rough winter who needed some TLC to a loveable boy just wanting all of the attention, Cinco has come a long way.

Wishing you a happy life Cinco, thank you for letting us be part of your story 💕🐾

It’s Foster Friday! 😻

We’re seeking loving homes with a passion for helping furry friends 🐾💕

We’re looking to welcome new fosters to our rescue, with a focus on cat socialization and one on one care.

✨ What do you need to become a foster?

🏠 A quarantine space (spare bedroom, office, or large bathroom)
❤️ A big heart
😸 A little bit of love and patience (experience in providing medication is an added bonus)

That’s it!

We provide the food, litter, supplies, veterinary care, and support. You provide a temporary home where you work with them to feel safe and loved while they wait for their forever families.

Every day, we & every other rescue within the Ottawa Valley region (and beyond) receive requests to help cats and kittens in need. Without foster homes, we simply cannot say “yes” to new intakes. Surrender requests are also at an all time high

By opening your home, you’re directly saving lives. Here are some of the lives you’ll be helping ⬇️

Interested in fostering or have questions? Send us a message or fill out our foster application!

THANK YOU Pet Valu Arnprior for your generous donation to our rescue! 😻

PAW month (also known as Pet Appreciation Month) occurs every June at Pet Valu across Canada and we’re blessed to be one of the recipients of the funds raised at Pet Valu Arnprior, by donations from their lovely customers.

Pictured here is Tina one of our directors, accepting this donation from store manager Kaitlin and staff member Jay!

The team at Pet Valu Arnprior, headed by owner Kartik and manager Kaitlin are always the best to work with!

We couldn’t do the work we do without the support of our community partners; thank you for being amazing 💕🐾
