Set to launch September 2026 in Armstrong, BC! Land to Table Network Society is thrilled to introduce The Food Shed.

Our mission is clear: Local Food for Local Communities 🍏 We're working to connect regional food producers with agency partners and schools through a warehouse that helps to ensure year-round access to fresh, affordable, locally grown food.

The Food Shed is provincially funded by the United Way BC Large Food Infrastructure Grant and we are partnering with Valley Direct Foods - Home Delivery for warehousing and distribution at the Rancho Vignola site in Armstrong, BC.

Land to Table Network Society is thrilled to launch The Food Shed. It's a community-focused food storage, processing, packing, and distribution hub set to open in Armstrong, BC in 2026.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, logistics-minded Food Shed Manager to lead us toward a September 2026 launch date - when we bring this infrastructure to life. If you’re passionate about local food and farms, love the idea of building something from the ground up, and want to shape a project that will strengthen food security across our region, we’d love to hear from you.
