Land to Table friends and partners — we have exciting news to share!

As many of you may know, The Food Shed (TFS) is moving from vision to reality, and we’re now hiring our very first TFS Manager to help build and launch this transformative regional food infrastructure. This role will shape everything from systems development to facility launch, creating a foundation for local food procurement, processing, and distribution across our region.

We’d be grateful if you could help us spread the word throughout your networks. Please share this opportunity with anyone who’s passionate about local food systems, logistics, community impact, or building something new alongside a scrappy, values-driven team.

Applications are open until February 8, 2026.

If you want to follow along with our progress join the TFS newsletter here, or follow The Food Shed on Facebook or Instagram (.bc)

Last call for donations to help fill this years Holiday Hampers.
Glad Tidings Church are still needing a few food items to fill their Holiday Hampers which will be distributed locally on December 19th.
With the continued rising cost of food & other essentials many local seniors & families, who face difficult financial decisions every day, are faced with even more challenges at Christmas time.
Every donation makes a difference and your generosity can help people breathe a little easier knowing they have food in their cupboards for at least a few days.
Donations can be dropped off at Glad Tidings Church Armstrong on PV Rd.
Thank you for helping spread hope, joy & cheer this holiday season🎄🙏

Items needed includes:
- tea
- coffee (instant & ground)
