The Ardrossan band kids sure know the BEAT! 🥁🎶🌧️☀️

Talk about dedication!

While the rain absolutely poured, these students showed up, gave it their all, & proudly represented Ardrossan Jr.-Sr. High. Even more amazing? Only THREE of these students actually play percussion! Everyone else stepped outside their comfort zone, picked up instruments they’d never played before, and made it happen together.

This is what community looks like. Supporting one another, adapting, and showing up no matter what the weather throws your way.

A huge shoutout to the amazing volunteers who helped set up, kept our cold/soaked musicians fed, and stayed afterward to clean everything up. We couldn’t have done it without you!

The Ardrossan Jr.-Sr. High community is truly something special, and these kids should be so proud of themselves. ❤️

✨ All We Can Say Is WOW! ✨

The AMPS 4th Annual Show & Shine was an incredible success, we are so grateful for the amazing support from our community!

Here are just a few highlights from the day:
🥁 1 marching band performance

👥 Too many spectators to count
🌭 We completely sold out of hot dogs & hamburgers!
🎟️ Fantastic silent auction
💰 An exciting and successful 50/50 draw

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Ardrossan Jr.-Sr. High School and the Ardrossan community. Every dollar raised stays local, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Band and CTS programs, helping create enhanced learning opportunities for our students and strengthening our school and community.

A special thank you to the Alberta Iron Indians Pontiac Club Edmonton for capturing some spectacular drone photos of the event!

We couldn’t have done it without all of you, and we already can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the 5th Annual Show & Shine in 2027! 🎉

THE LAST BAND ROOM VISIT
Before you leave the band room for the last time, stand in the doorway and take one final look around.
These walls have known every version of you. They saw the nervous freshman who walked in searching for a place to belong. They witnessed friendships that became family, heard the laughter between rehearsals, and carried the sounds of each note, hard work, and unforgettable performances.

This room has seen your victories and your setbacks, your confidence and your doubts, your happiest days and the moments when this was the only place that felt like home. Within these four walls, you grew into more than a musician, you became the person you are today.
Both you and this room know the same truth: home was never just these four walls. It was the people who became your family, the memories woven into every rehearsal, and the music that gave voice to your journey. Wherever life leads you next, a part of you will always remain in this band room, and a part of this band room will stay with you-echoing in every step, every song, and every new beginning.
