Did you know…
Best before does NOT mean bad after?
Best before date = quality and freshness
Unopened food that has been stored properly is often safe to eat after its best before date.
Expiration date = safety
Food should not be eaten after this date. Some products, like infant formula and certain nutritional supplements, have legally required expiration dates and should not be used after that date.
Understanding food labels can help reduce food waste and save money!
