Annapolis Valley Climbing Club is a community club whose focus is on building the youth and adult climbing communities in the Annapolis Valley. Send us a PM.

We manage two main walls in Annapolis Royal and Aylesford, NS. Interested in volunteering? Annapolis Valley Climbing Club runs programs for community members from all ages and walks of life. We are focused on teaching the sport of climbing (bouldering) through use of our new facility in Annapolis Royal (The Academy Loft Climbing Gym). We also run programs and help maintain the climbing walls at We

Hello West Kings Climbers

Due to scheduled school events we will have to close for both Thursday June 4th and Friday June 5th.

Please note our remaining climb nights are as follows:
Tuesday June 2nd 6:30-8:30pm
Tuesday June 9th 6:30-8:30pm
Thursday June 11th 6:30-8:30pm
Friday June 12th 6:30-8:30pm

We apologize for the closures during our last 2 opporational weeks.

Hey Climbers,
As we approach the end of our climbing season we want to thank all our climbers for the support you bring. We could not run our walls without you.

This season we will be running our last climb night for both walls Friday June 12th. The last 2 weeks of June will be dedicated to cleaning holds, and wall repairs.

Make sure to get your last few climbs in!

Sending big belated birthday wishes to a very special addition to our AVCC family! 🎂
Benni was an exchange student who came all the way from Germany and quickly became a key member of our club — making a big impact in every way. In just 5 months, he left a lasting impression on all of us, and the warmth he brought to our community doesn't fade just because the miles between us grew.

Once part of the AVCC family, always part of the AVCC family. 🧡 Happy belated birthday, Benni — we hope your day was as wonderful as the time you spent with us!

🧗 West Kings Climbers!
We are SO thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand new mats! 🎉

A huge thank you to and their Sport Fun Grant for making this possible — we are incredibly grateful for their support in keeping our climbers safe!

Our new cave mats will be installed very soon, and we cannot wait for you to come experience them! Stay tuned for updates!

Wednesday February 4th | 6-8:30pm | $5 entry

Calling all women 16+! Whether you've been climbing with us for years, been curious about trying it, or just need a fun Monday night adventure - this night is for YOU! 💪

Here's the vibe:
🧗‍♀️ 6-7pm: Intro to Climbing - Never touched a climbing wall? Perfect! We'll teach you everything you need to know to get started.

🎉 7-8:30pm: Open Climb - Practice new skills, work on your projects, challenge yourself, and connect with an awesome community in a supportive space!

What to bring:
✔️ Comfy clothes you can move in
✔️ Socks
✔️ Water bottle
✔️ Your friends! (The more the merrier!)
✔️ $5 cash or e-transfer

The best part? Shoes & chalk are available at the gym, and NO sign-up needed - just show up ready to have a blast!
