Okay, so I won’t get political.... but due to the unforeseen library closure until mid-June, we are going to POSTPONE SATURDAY MORNING IMPROV UNTIL JUNE 20. I am very sorry about this but at least thanks to the extraordinary Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library we will get to keep our library and IMPROV WILL HAPPEN BEFORE SUMMER!

So keep an eye out for notices about the library, keep checking here for updates or email [email protected]. And please contact your MLA to let them know how you and your family use the library and the services it provides for the community. See you back on June 20th. ✌️

Last night the AWEC Wolf Pack Players were part of "The Space Between" Cabaret at AWEC and it was a wonderful evening of high-energy entertainment. Many past and present Young Company performers were part of the huge cast, and huge congratulations to Heather Hiscock for her own energy and hard work in writing and directing the show and organizing and mentoring the Wolf Pack! You are all amazing!

Super talented Young Company alumni past and present lighting up the stage at King's Theatre, on June 13th!

Here comes the NEXT GEN SHOWCASE!!! On Saturday June 13 at 6:00pm, 20 local youth come together to present an incredible show, featuring both theatre and music, at King's Theatre, Annapolis Royal. Pay What You Will!

The first half is a selection of seven short plays, performed and produced by the Next Gen Youth. The second half features the music of two local youth bands, Proletariat and Parallels.

The NEXT GEN THEATRE PROJECT is about giving youth opportunities to learn about all aspects of theatre -- both on stage and backstage! Local youth have been working at the theatre every week since January, doing a deep dive into what's involved in theatre production.

Two local youth bands have also been working at the theatre, exploring the tech side of music performance.

Come support local youth -- we promise it will be a great show!

Admission: PAY WHAT YOU WILL, reserved seating.

The NEXT GEN THEATRE PROJECT is possible with the generous support of the Canada Post Community Foundation.
