Thank you for an amazing 2026 season. Special thank you goes to our whole staff and dedicated CPO. Your commitment to this facility and our community is what makes the Annapolis Community Pool the special place that it is.
Every staff were certified instructors this season, which means we were able to offer an astounding number of lessons. Many of the lessons offered were free to our community due to the support of a generous grant from the Annapolis West Health Foundation.
This season we were able to be open an extra month, the entire month of June. This is in addition to our regular season of July and August. In June, we were able to have the facility open to offer programming hours for several schools in our region during the day and public access in the afternoons.
This year we offered the following programming free to the community: lane swims, open swims, Aquafit, and group lessons. We are not able to offer this programming barrier free without the continued support from private donations and the hard work of our grant writers.
To all the businesses that supported the 2026 season through sponsorships, donations, or in kind donations of time and labour, we thank you. To the federal and provincial government, thank you for supporting every staff with a grant this season. To our committed Aquafit instructor, Amery, thank you. The Town of Annapolis Royal, thank you for contributing support to the annual operations run by the Friends of the Annapolis Pool Society, our board of directors. To our dedicated board of directors that work year round to make each season as successful as possible for our community, thank you.
