ept of WINGS and have shared many good ideas that have been implemented. WINGS (Women In NetWeaving Growing Strong) is a unique Networking/NetWeaving/Mentoring concept that attracts caring women who appreciate the rewards and benefits of giving back. Everyone has a chance to be successful if you value the need of mentors in order to gain the knowledge, wisdom and skills that will allow everyone to grow both personally and professionally. HEROS are special men who have been recommended by our women. They are men you can feel safe and comfortable doing business with. Many women told us how they had been ripped off or abused by questionable mechanics, painters, web masters, renovators etc. We really appreciate and value our HEROS, and thank the women who have recommended them. With over 800,000 businesswomen owners across Canada and the number growing Diane recognized the need for a special kind of support. In her own community she identified that need was for a comfortable nurturing atmosphere where women new to the world of being a business entrepreneur could benefit by connecting and building relationships with caring knowledgeable community experts. Especially those who have walked the walk and can talk the talk and who therefore have developed skills in business and life. Diane realized that women also needed to learn the skill of speaking and expressing themselves effectively. Because many people would rather die than speak an atmosphere where they could feel comfortable learning this skill was established. Women have benefited immensely from the WINGS introduction format where they are encouraged to verbalize their needs, goals and the strategies to achieve their goals and share a victory. The positive accolades for sharing a success victory have created much excitement and empowerment. Speaking soon comes to them naturally and many go on to perfect this skill through Toastmasters. The WINGS concept work works well, and many others are now duplicating this simple to follow forum in their community.
