A huge thank you to Dr. Andrea from Mindwise Mental Health Services for sharing this important article this month!

Dr. Andrea emphasizes that mental health support should never be out of reach because of income. To make professional care truly accessible, Mindwise offers their Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) counselling program:

No Session Limits: Healing does not follow a strict timeline—access support for as long as it is helpful.

No Financial Documentation: A straightforward, dignified process with zero red tape; pay what fits your current financial situation.

Equal, Dedicated Care: Every client receives the highest standard of professional care, compassion, and respect.

The art of marketing is the art of brand building. If you are not a brand, you are a commodity.

When you're a commodity, you're constantly fighting on price. But when you build a brand, you become a trusted fixture in your community.

That’s exactly why my marketing services don’t just focus on quick, transactional ads. Through a powerful dual-media approach, combining the deep trust and authority of premium print storytelling with the wide reach of a digital ecosystem, we help local businesses stand out, build genuine community relationships, and become a household name.

Stop competing to be the cheapest. Start building something irreplaceable right here in our community.

DM me to learn how we can elevate your business from a service to a local landmark.

Ready to stop being a commodity and start being a staple in the community? Let’s chat. [email protected]

Hello August,

Welcome to another wonderful issue of Neighbours of Ancaster!

As we continue to celebrate another beautiful summer in our community, we're excited to bring you stories that inspire, educate and connect us with the incredible people who make Ancaster such a special place to call home.

Our cover feature shines a spotlight on three exceptional young athletes Tabatha Tripp, Sofia Nazarova and Quinn Startek from Hamilton Skating Club. Their hard work, determination and outstanding achievements have brought pride to Hamilton and it has been a pleasure sharing their inspiring journey with our readers.

A sincere thank you to our expert contributors Noah Frigault of Arborwood Tree Service, Dr Andrea Dorman Bodywise Health & Rehab, and Lori Robinson UROSPOT for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise with our community. We're also grateful to our community contributors who continue to enrich every issue. Thank you to Zig Misiak and Mara Benjamin Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum for helping preserve and share Ancaster's rich history,DIBS Rescue for another wonderful Pets Corner feature, and Jan Lukas for commemorating the 20th anniversary of Grandmothers of Steel.

Congratulations to everyone involved with this remarkable organization on reaching such an important milestone.

Every issue is made possible by the generosity of our contributors, local businesses and engaged residents who continue to share their stories', experiences and community spirit. Your support helps make Neighbours of Ancaster a true reflection of the people who live, work and volunteer here.

Thank you for welcoming us into your home each month. We hope you enjoy this issue, support local, attend a community event or two, and make the most of the final weeks of summer.

See you next month!
