Some dogs make a house feel busy. Pumba makes a house feel like home.

Pumba is the definition of easy company. He's happy to join you for a walk, happily entertain himself with a toy, or curl up nearby for a well-earned nap. He has settled beautifully into foster care and has proven himself to be a respectful, low-maintenance houseguest who is simply easy to love.

At home, Pumba is a gentleman. He crates himself when his foster family leaves, waits patiently at doors and mealtimes, respects household boundaries, and is always happy to go along with whatever the day brings.

Pumba gets along beautifully with his foster dog friends and is respectful of canine boundaries. Pumba is a bit shy when he meets new people, but once he's had a little time to warm up his affectionate, loving personality shines through.

One of the best parts of watching Pumba in foster care has been seeing his confidence grow. The dog who once froze on walks and hid in bushes now walks with purpose, keeps a great pace, and is excited to explore the world around him. As his confidence grows, he's still learning that not every distraction needs his attention. He can get excited when he sees other dogs or wildlife, but redirects well and continues to make steady progress with guidance.

Speaking of wildlife, Pumba remains absolutely convinced that turkey vultures require close supervision. Watching him sprint across the yard attempting to catch birds soaring hundreds of feet overhead is a daily source of entertainment.

Affectionate, goofy, and easy to have around, Pumba is the kind of dog who quietly becomes your best friend.

There's still time to register for the 2026 Babysitting Course! This fun and interactive course teaches students 11-14 years old about fire safety, water safety, basic first aid and other important topics to help them babysit with confidence.

Cost: $75

Week 1: July 6-10 (1 – 3pm)
Week 2: July 20-24 (1 – 3 pm)

This Vulcain Cricket features a 38mm stainless steel tonneau-style case with a smooth polished bezel, framing a rich blue sunburst dial with silver-tone stick indices and matching hands with luminous accents.

Inside is a manual wind mechanical alarm movement — the famous “Cricket” complication that gave Vulcain its name and made the brand such an interesting part of watchmaking history. Finished on a blue leather strap with buckle clasp.
