A step forward for 👏

For the first time, South Korea is officially recognizing same-s*x couples in its national census.

As of October 22, partners of the same gender can now be listed as “spouses” or “cohabiting partners.” It’s a major step for + visibility and inclusion, with the Ministry of Data and Statistics calling it a milestone for representation. Advocacy groups across the country are celebrating the move as a “historic decision.”

South Korea still doesn’t legally recognize same-s*x marriage or offer full anti-discrimination protections, but this is a step toward a future where every kind of love counts.

Norway’s new consent-based law is finally making it clear that s*x without explicit, verbal, or clear consent is still r**e.

This legislation shifts the focus from how hard someone fought back to whether they said "yes" in the first place. Following in the footsteps of other Nordic countries, this overdue change sets a new standard for respect and accountability.
