Join us on August 26th, from 10:00am-2:00pm for our long awaited day at Amherst Shore Provincial Park. We’ll unwind outdoors, explore, and enjoy some time in nature. We will meet at anchor, where tansportation will then be provided to the park.

Community Igniative Alert 🚨 Maggie's Place is launching their School Supply and Backpack giveaway!

Starting tomorrow, August 19th, at 9:00 a.m., you can call Maggie's Place at (902) 667-7250 to reserve a Backpack. Reservations must be made by speaking directly with a staff member. They are kindly asking that reservations be made by phone and not through social media.

Pick-up will begin Monday, August 24th. Locations include Amherst, Wentworth, Oxford, Springhill, Pugwash, Wallace, River Hebert, Parrsboro & Advocate and will be shared when calling to reserve your backpack! 🎒 🫶🌈

We had a beautiful day painting at the Cumberland County Museum and Archives Gardens for Plein-Air Art in the Park last week - Our youth had the opportunity to explore and create with oil paints at such a whimsical location.
