There was wiggling and giggling yesterday as Elementary school children were treated to a performance from Bridge & Wolak a classical duo playing accordion, clarinet and piano. The children clapped along to the William Tell overture, experienced the quiet reflection of Chopin nocturne, and the soaring notes of rhapsody in blue. This concert was brought to the community by AiC with generous help from the Elizabeth Kelly Foundation.

The duo will be performing to the public tonight at 7:30pm. Grab tickets while they're available.

🎶 Happy New Year to all our supporters and concert goers. ❄️Winter has arrived in full force, and if the season is feeling a little long already, consider this your perfect midwinter reset. Our next concert breaks from our usual evening schedule and invites you out for a winter afternoon of exceptional music.

In just 20 days, the stage of the Almonte Old Town Hall will welcome JUNO Award winning cellist Elinor Frey and her extraordinary collection of cellos for the opening concert of 2026, All the Mornings with Elinor. Performing alone on stage, Elinor brings each instrument’s unique voice, colour, and story to life.

Inspired by the film Tous les matins du monde, this intimate and richly rewarding recital features works by Bach, Dall’Abbaco, Telemann, and Tartini, along with Les Pleurs by Sainte Colombe from the film itself. It is a rare chance to hear these works up close in a setting that suits them perfectly.

A Piano for Christmas: An Ensemble that Lights Up the Season

The holidays are coming in hot, and so is our next concert. In less than a month, A Piano for Christmas will fill the Almonte Old Town Hall with the kind of festive magic that disappears fast from the ticket page.
If you’ve seen the posters, you might think it’s just pianist Stéphane Aubin and vocalist Marie Michèle Desrosiers taking the stage. Not quite. We kept a little suspense in play.
Joining them will be eight exceptional musicians, a full group ready to turn the hall into a glowing, spirited winter haven. Marie Michèle will be performing excerpts from André Gagnon’s iconic album Noël, a perfect match for anyone craving that rich, nostalgic holiday sound.
Seats are down to the last handful. If you haven’t grabbed tickets yet, now’s your moment.
And bonus: here’s an interview (in French) with Stéphane and Marie talking about A Piano for Christmas. (The concert itself will be in English.)
