The Almonte Disc Golf Course will be closed from 9 to 5 on Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21st during the Lucky Lines Tournament.

Hey folks. With lucky lines coming to town in a couple of weeks, we are looking for volunteers to help out with some grass cutting and whippersnipping. Any help would be appreciated over the next couple of weeks. The usual spots could use a trim.
2 yellow tee
5 green and fairway
8 yellow tee
11 blue and red tee, landing zone
13 green and fairway
14 yellow tee

If you've done an area, post here so we know where to concentrate.

Thanks Carl and Louise. Widow makers are removed, paths are cleared and the red and blue tees have new paint. The yellow tees are primed . Maybe the yellow tees can get their final coat this upcoming week.

Tomorrow is the first official Sunday Funday. Meet at teepad 1 at 1:00 pm.

It's well past the time for some teepad maintenance. My plan is to clean up and repaint the teepads starting later this week as soon as it looks like a couple of consecutive rain free days. If anyone is able to help out for a couple of hours that makes the job go a lot faster. I am flexible and can work around your schedule.

Almonte Feb Putting league is moving to phase 2. Anyone who would like to formally commit to join us can email [email protected] . Please include your name, and your preference of starting time between 6:30pm and 8:00pm. It will run for 2 hours each night. The cost will be $40 in total. It must be on Mondays because that is the only night available to book a space. It will be for the four Mondays in Feb. If you can only commit to 2 of the Mondays please indicate that. Send no money at this time. If I get enough commitments to cover the rental fees I will ask for e-transfers then. Please respond by Thursday 15 January so I can confirm our rental.

Is there any interest in participating in a putting league in Almonte in February? Monday nights for 2 hours at the new pickle ball facility. Rental is $48 per hr plus taxes so we would probably need at least 10 players to commit to register at $40 for the 4 weeks. If more are registered the price goes down or we add another week. Comment if you are interested so I can gauge if it is worth pursuing.
