Succession Planning is a part of Strategic Planning for any organization! Home Hospice is looking to fill the positions of two Board Directors 🌟

Are you passionate about your community and want to make a meaningful difference? We welcome people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and encourage them to apply.

Previous experience on a governance board is an asset.

At this time, we are especially interested in individuals with interests and background experience in any of the following:

• Fundraising & community engagement
• Healthcare & quality of care
• Leadership & governance
• Accreditation

•Finances

•Grant writing

As a Board Director, you will have the opportunity to:

💙 Help shape important decisions
💙 Share your skills and experience
💙 Support HHNL’s mission and strategic goals

What is involved?
• Attend monthly Board meetings -- approximately 4–5 hours per month
• Participate on a subcommittee and attend meetings every 2–3 months

Enjoy an afternoon of live country music, dancing, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, snack bar, cash bar, and more—all while supporting compassionate hospice care in our community.

Day Hospice Program: Because no one should navigate illness or caregiving alone.
Looking for Support While Living with Illness or Caring for a Loved One?
Fridays | 1:00–3:00 p.m. | Carleton Place
Home Hospice North Lanark’s Day Hospice is a free, weekly, in-person program for individuals living with a life-limiting illness. Held every Friday from 1:00–3:00 p.m. in Carleton Place, the program offers a safe and welcoming space to relax, connect with others, and enjoy gentle activities such as music and art therapy.
Led by experienced nurses and supported by trained volunteers, Day Hospice is designed to promote comfort, social connection, and quality of life. Light refreshments are provided, and walkers and wheelchairs are welcome (with one-person assist).
Caregivers are also welcome—to participate or to take a few hours of well-deserved respite.
Pre-registration is required.
