Due to unforeseen circumstances, today’s activities from 1-4 at the Alma Recreation Centre have been postponed.

🍽️ The Community Potluck is still ON starting at 4 PM!

☀️ END OF SUMMER BASH! ☀️

Come spend the afternoon with us at the Alma Recreation Centre for some end-of-summer fun! 🎉

Activities will be set up from 1:00–4:00 PM, so drop in anytime and join the fun!

🚀 Mini Paper Rocket Launch Challenge
Build your own mini paper rocket, then head to the launch zone and see who can send their rocket the furthest!

🏀 Basketball Challenges & Competitions
Test your shooting skills with different basketball games and challenges throughout the afternoon.

🖼️ Make Your Own Picture Frame
Decorate a frame to take home! Have a favourite picture on your phone? Send it to us while you’re there and we’ll print it right at the rink to put in your new frame. You can also bring a printed photo from home if you’d like.

🏃 3:00 PM — CAPTURE THE FLAG!
We’re getting the kids AND parents involved! We’ll split into teams for a big game of Capture the Flag around the rink. Come ready to run! 😂

🍽️ 4:00 PM — PARENTS & KIDS COMMUNITY POTLUCK
Stick around after the activities and join us for supper. Bring along a dish to share if you can, and enjoy some time together with friends, neighbours and families in our community.

🚩 CAPTURE THE FLAG — TOMORROW, SATURDAY AT 3 PM! 🚩

We’re bringing back a classic! Join us at the Alma Recreation Centre for a big game of Capture the Flag using the whole rink property.

Adults AND kids are encouraged to play! Let’s introduce the kids to some of the games we grew up playing and get everyone outside having fun together.

We have 2 fun events coming up Saturday September 5th! The farewell to summer party and the Village community potluck

Join us in celebrating the end of summer, conversing with your neighbours. Everyone is welcome!

Plates, Napkins, Cups will be provided but please bring a dish of your choice. If the weather is nice feel free to bring a lawn chair to sit outside :)

Farewell to Summer starts at 1pm and runs untl 4pm

Potluck starts at 4pm.

IMPORTANT Program Update!!
We’re sorry to share that tomorrow’s program has officially been cancelled due to insufficient registrations.

We know many of you and your children were looking forward to it, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience.

The good news: Dominique’s program may be making an appearance at our End of Summer Bash on August 21st! giving families another opportunity to take part.

More details about the End of Summer Bash are coming soon, so keep an eye out for our posters and announcements! 🌞
