Congratulations to our SEAM participants on completing their summer work placements! 🎉🥳

SEAM (Skills Enhancement and Mentorship) is a work experience program for youth entering Grades 10, 11, and 12. Over the course of seven weeks, participants gain valuable on-the-job experience with local businesses, volunteer with community organizations, receive workplace skills training, and take part in workshops that support life and career development.

Participants often share that they have learned more about their community, explored employment and training opportunities that interest them, and gained a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.

This program is made possible through the support of Skills PEI and the many businesses and community organizations that generously invest in the success of our youth.

Congratulations to all of this year's participants on their hard work, growth, and accomplishments. We wish you continued success in your future education and career journeys!

What a successful day for the Alberton SEAM program as they were out in action to raise funds for the PEI Humane Society .

Develop West Prince is now hiring two key positions for our SEAM Program. These are short-term, full-time opportunities to support and guide youth as they build skills, confidence, and connections.

👉 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿
This role focuses on delivering hands-on programming, coordinating daily activities, and supporting participants through learning and career exploration. Ideal for someone who enjoys facilitation, teamwork, and working directly with youth.

👉 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿
This role provides one-on-one and group support around mental health, wellness, and personal development. Ideal for someone compassionate, organized, and comfortable helping youth navigate challenges in a supportive environment.

🗓 Contract: June 1 - August 21, 2026 (12 weeks)
⏰ Hours: 37.5 per week
💰 Wage: $19.50/hour + vacation pay
📍 Locations: Alberton and O’Leary (West Prince)
