Its been awhile since I last posted. Know we continue to offer amazing programs and services that positively impact our seniors and community.
Last week we enjoyed our strawberry social and this week despite the weather we brought our picnic inside and had a wonderful time learning to line dance.

2025 has been a great year for Homebound Wellness Centre. We engaged in numerous events with our seniors. What a blessing. Thanks to the Ajax Lions Club for your continued financial support. It makes a difference. To all who continue to donate to our organization I say thank you. Your donations enable us to provide meaning programming for our seniors. Here is a glimpse into the events over 2025.

Thank you SBCCI for the grant to renovate our facility. To the contractors, electrician, our Board of Directors, clients and staff who endured during the renovation, it all paid off. We are home to a new beautiful space.

We are blessed to have funding from New Horizons for Seniors to offer this wonderful program supporting 45 seniors weekly. Our wonderful coordinators and volunteers offer such creative and dynamic programs weekly that stimulate our seniors mind, body and soul. Thanks to for your donations that support our healthy meals. We cannot offer this program without support from individuals and organizations. With heartfelt thanks we say how much we appreciate you all.

With a grateful heart we say thank you to the Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors Program for the funding to offer our Hot Meal program weekly for our seniors. To hear the laughter, see the smiles, see to the connectivity between our seniors absolutely melts me. The seniors don't want to leave weekly. Tonight I left a bunch of them gathering outside to talk and continue the conversations well after the program ended.
