Harleen Saini and Jasbir Saini from Diverse Minds Collective along with Councillor Nancy Henry. Councillor had the privilege of attending a fantastic Tamil Community event, organized by MP Juanita Nathan , held in Pickering. The event brought together members of the Tamil community from Durham Region to celebrate Thai Pongal in a joyous manner. We are grateful to MP Juanita Nathan for organizing such an event, which was both festive and welcoming, and for providing an opportunity for people from across Durham to unite and celebrate a rich cultural festival.
