Last Sunday, we had Aries and our Disney kittens at The Torchbearer Taproom in search of their forever homes! 🐾❤️

Aries had a wonderful time meeting and greeting everyone, showing off his sweet personality but he is still patiently waiting for the perfect family to call his own. 🥰

Our Disney kittens have since moved to
All Creatures Cobourg and are now available for adoption there! 🐱✨

A huge thank you to Kyla and Colin for allowing us to hang out and introduce some of our adorable adoptable animals to the community. We truly appreciate your support! ❤️🐾

Happy International Dog Day! 🐶🐾

Today is a day to celebrate the unconditional love, loyalty and happiness that dogs bring into our lives. 💕

But there are still so many shelter and rescue dogs waiting for someone to choose them.
Today, we want to shine a little extra light on Aries & Kinley. 🖤💛

🐕 ARIES
Aries is a sweet 4-year-old boy who loves his people, adventure, walks and car rides. He has been waiting far too long for someone to see what a wonderful companion he can be.
He is looking for a home where he can finally settle in and be someone's forever dog. He would make a wonderful family dog and has so much love to share.

🐕 KINLEY
Kinley is a beautiful, shy 7-year-old girl who is ready for her special person to love her through her golden years.
She deserves a soft place to land, a family to call her own, and someone who can enjoy leisurely daily walks, sunbathing and, of course, lots of cuddling. ☀️🐾

Both Aries & Kinley are still waiting for their forever families.

He will be joined by some adorable kitten friends as well. Some kittens may still be available on Sunday but either way, they will be here for all your cuddling needs!

🌞 Summer with Aries… but what he’s really waiting for is a forever home. 🐾

Aries has been enjoying life with his amazing foster family, going on adventures, enjoying walks, taking car rides, playing endless games of fetch (his absolute favourite!), stopping for a pup cup🍦 and even taking in a drive-in movie! 🎬🚗

But at the end of every adventure, Aries is still waiting for one thing… his perfect family. ❤️

Aries is a 4-year-old Border Collie with a big love for adventure and an even bigger love for spending time with his people. He is great with people and loves getting out and exploring. He is also good with calm dogs, but is looking for a cat-free home.

He has been searching for his forever home for over 2 months with us and is hoping someone will finally see just how special he is. Could that someone be you?

Aries is looking for a family who will include him in their adventures and continue enjoying all of his favourite things—walks, car rides, fetch and, of course, spending time with his people. ❤️

At 7 years old, Kinley is ready to find a family to call her own.💕

This sweet girl loves the simple things in life: soaking up the sunshine, cuddling up with her favorite people, and going for walks. Whether she's basking in a sunny spot by the window or curled up beside you on the couch, Kinley is happiest when she's close to the people she loves. 🥰

Kinley can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but her loving personality quickly shines through. Once you've earned her trust, she'll be your loyal shadow. She doesn't enjoy being left alone for long periods and would love a home where someone is around more often to keep her company.

If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily join you for walks and snuggle beside you at the end of the day, Kinley may be the perfect match.💛

ARIES 🐶

This handsome 4-year-old Border Collie with a gentle nature and a heart full of love. Sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loyal, he loves being close to his people and is always ready for a game of fetch! 🥎

Aries is house-trained, crate-trained, and travels wonderfully in the car, making him an easy companion whether you're heading out on an adventure or simply running errands. 🚗

As a Border Collie, Aries is looking for an active home that understands the breed's needs and can provide daily exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training. Because of his herding instincts, he would do best in a home without small children or small pets.

Aries has so much love to give and is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and devoted companion, Aries just might be your perfect match. 🐾🖤🤍

We're looking for volunteer drivers to help transport our 4 adorable S kittens for their appointments for Wednesday July 29

Morning: 📍 Pick up in Cobourg ➡️ Drop off in Trenton 🕗 Arrival needed by 8:00–8:30 AM

Afternoon: 📍 Pick up in Trenton around 3:30 PM ➡️ Return the kittens to Cobourg

We wanted to thank everyone who stopped by and supported our garage sale today! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $1,000!! 🐾💛

A very special and heartfelt thank you to Barb and Harry for so generously opening their home, accepting donations, sorting and preparing everything, and hosting this entire garage sale. We are also incredibly grateful to all of the wonderful volunteers who gave their time and energy to help make today such a success and everyone that donated towards our sale to help raise funds.

Congratulations to Barb and Harry on receiving the Town of Whitby's Recognition for Volunteer Work, an honour that is so well deserved! Their kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication have made an incredible impact not only on Marley's Pet Rescue but also on many other animal rescues in need. We are so grateful for everything they do, and this recognition couldn't have gone to more deserving people. 💕

Thank you as well to our wonderful foster parents for bringing our adoptable dog, Kinley, and our six adorable rescue kittens to the sale so they could meet members of the community. We are incredibly grateful for your dedication and for opening your hearts and homes to these animals while they wait for their forever families.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward veterinary care, food, supplies, and other essential needs for the animals in our care, allowing us to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving forever homes for pets in need.🥰
