Thursday, December 18th

With the improvement in weather, we will be open this evening. However, we are short on volunteers, so there may be some waits. We appreciate everyone's patience, as our volunteers do their best to operate. It takes a team of 15-18 volunteers every day in December to operate effectively... tonight there will be nine of us, all with smiles on our faces, and a commitment to offering the best experience to our guests.

We do it because witnessing the memories and traditions made at our little festival are so rewarding, and play an immense part of the magic of the holiday season.

AFOLS is an independently funded, non-profit, volunteer run organization, and we appreciate all the help we can get!

Wednesday, December 17th, 2025. The safety of our volunteers is important to us. Expected temperatures with windchill for this evening are in the -24 degrees Celsius. Even though our policy is to close at -25, with the current storm that is blowing in, and road travel advisories, we have made the decision to run Lights Only. We want everyone who is out there today, to get home safely.

Join us as we take a step back in time with our friends from Nose Creek Valley Museum, in the nostalgic style of skating around the pond.

Bring your family and friends, along with your skates, to enjoy skating amidst beautifully lit Holiday Displays! Then warm yourself by one of our Fire Pits, while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider.
