Airdrie Youth Badminton club is a not-for-profit club that runs on volunteer coaches. We have a limited number of courts and want to provide the best experience for youths learning to play badminton. Due to our limited court space, we will only be accepting 14 youths per group and will hold try outs on Sept 22 for any available remaining spots. A waitlist will be created if we have too many responses and you will be contacted by sept 11 for your tryout location and time.
Our sessions are always Monday nights from 6-7pm(ages 9-12) or 7-8pm(ages 12-18) for youths still in high school level education. If your youth is now out of high school, we run an adult club for those interested.
If you are interested in coaching our youths, please reach out to me via email: [email protected]. We welcome any parents with badminton or coaching experience, or seniors in grade 11 or 12 who have a high level of badminton experience. All adult coaches will be required to a police volunteer sector check.
