That’s a wrap on the 2025 season for The Airdrie Santa ❤️🎅
As the last bells quiet and the red suit is carefully hung away, our hearts are full. This holiday season was a whirlwind of joy, connection and community spirit filled with home visits, smiling faces, and unforgettable moments at events across Airdrie, including the CPKC Holiday Train in support of the Airdrie Food Bank.
Because of this incredible community, 520 pounds of food were collected and $1,270 was donated this year. Every can, every dollar, and every kind word made a real difference.
This season was made even more meaningful as we continued this work in loving memory of Keith Wilkinson. His spirit of generosity and community lives on through every visit, every event, and every act of kindness shared.
Here’s a glimpse of what it took to make this season so special:
-34 home visits
-Holly Jolly Market
-Diverse Moms Connect Soft Christmas Party
-CPKC Holiday Train
-Elements Dance Christmas Recitals
-Blake Richards Open House
-Appearance at the Sirens Charity Hockey Game
And perhaps the most important and impactful visit, was the Christmas Eve Santa Experience, where we were able to make Christmas magic for a single mom and 3 girls on an unforgettable Christmas Eve for them.
All together, this meant over 35 hours spent as Santa, and just as many hours behind the scenes preparing, because magic takes work, and it takes heart.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who welcomed Santa into their homes, supported events, donated, volunteered, and believed in the power of community. Airdrie, you truly showed what the season is all about.
Until next year keep the spirit alive. ❤️
