That’s a wrap on the 2025 season for The Airdrie Santa ❤️🎅

As the last bells quiet and the red suit is carefully hung away, our hearts are full. This holiday season was a whirlwind of joy, connection and community spirit filled with home visits, smiling faces, and unforgettable moments at events across Airdrie, including the CPKC Holiday Train in support of the Airdrie Food Bank.

Because of this incredible community, 520 pounds of food were collected and $1,270 was donated this year. Every can, every dollar, and every kind word made a real difference.

This season was made even more meaningful as we continued this work in loving memory of Keith Wilkinson. His spirit of generosity and community lives on through every visit, every event, and every act of kindness shared.

Here’s a glimpse of what it took to make this season so special:
-34 home visits
-Holly Jolly Market
-Diverse Moms Connect Soft Christmas Party
-CPKC Holiday Train
-Elements Dance Christmas Recitals
-Blake Richards Open House
-Appearance at the Sirens Charity Hockey Game

And perhaps the most important and impactful visit, was the Christmas Eve Santa Experience, where we were able to make Christmas magic for a single mom and 3 girls on an unforgettable Christmas Eve for them.

All together, this meant over 35 hours spent as Santa, and just as many hours behind the scenes preparing, because magic takes work, and it takes heart.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who welcomed Santa into their homes, supported events, donated, volunteered, and believed in the power of community. Airdrie, you truly showed what the season is all about.

Until next year keep the spirit alive. ❤️

A Christmas Miracle in Airdrie – My Heart is Full! ❤️✨

When I first set out to launch the Airdrie Santa Christmas Eve Experience, I had a simple goal: to bring a little bit of magic to one family who had been through a difficult time. I wanted to expand on this tradition we have built in memory of Keith Wilkinson and show that our community truly cares.

I never could have imagined how much that magic would grow!

To the family I visited:

Seeing the joy in your home and reading your kind words truly reminded me what this season is all about. It wasn't just about the gifts in the garage or the full freezer; it was about showing your girls that even when times are tough, there is a whole community standing behind them!

A Huge Thank You To:

✍️💌 The Nominators: Thank you for looking out for your neighbors. Without your stories, we wouldn’t have found such a deserving family to love on this year.

🛍️🤝 Our Community: To the local businesses and residents who donated gifts, food, and gift cards - your generosity turned a "quick visit" into a mountain of support.

🎁✂️😴 The "Late Night Elves": A huge shout-out to my unsuspecting two-person wrapping crew. You worked tirelessly into the early morning hours the night before to ensure every single gift was perfect!

🌟🕊️ The Spirit of Keith Wilkinson: I hope we did you proud this year.

This was our first annual experience but I can promise you it won't be the last!

✨ My heart is full, my spirit is bright, and I am so proud to be your Airdrie Santa. 🎅

Merry Christmas to all! 🎄

NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN!!!

✨🎅 Airdrie Santa Christmas Eve Experience 🎁🎄

Bringing Christmas magic to one family in need in Airdrie!

Every year in Airdrie, families step up for one another. We help where we can, we lift each other when life gets heavy, and we make sure no one faces the holidays alone. This year, we want to bring that spirit to life in the most magical way possible.

🌟 Introducing the Airdrie Santa Christmas Eve Experience!

A one-of-a-kind holiday surprise for a local family who could use a little extra joy this season.

This special experience will be given to one nominated Airdrie family facing financial hardship, loss, or a difficult year. With the help of local businesses, community members, and generous hearts, we will gather gifts, essentials, and holiday treats.

And on Christmas Eve… something unforgettable will happen!

🚪 How the Magic Unfolds:

Santa himself walks through YOUR front door on Christmas Eve!

Not down the chimney, not outside on the porch. Right through the front door, as if he stepped straight out of a storybook! This is a fully immersive, heartwarming Christmas Eve experience designed to bring smiles, laughter, and maybe even a few happy tears.

What the Experience Includes:
🤫 Santa quietly arrives to place community donated gifts under the family’s tree.
🔔 Parents hear a jingle or a soft thump, waking the children to peek from a distance.
🍪 The kids watch in absolute awe as Santa takes a bite of the cookie left out and a sip of milk!
🫂 The children are invited to greet Santa right in their living room, creating a holiday memory they will never forget!

This moment is a gift of love from Airdrie to one of our own, a reminder that we stand together.

Airdrie Santa 🎅

Had a really fun Saturday with a couple events like the Holly Jolly Market and the Diverse Mom Connect’s Gentle Sound Sensory Christmas party. Was lot of fun sneaking in pictures with the kids an families. Can’t wait to see the pictures. Even got a few pictures with Allen the Alpaca.

Ended the afternoon appearing at Ron Ebbesen arena to take in some charity hockey action RCMP vs Firefighters. Definitely a fierce rivalry brewing in the name of charity Airdrie 1st Club. Was great seeing all the smiling faces from kiddos to the grown ups.

Also it was awesome to see the toy donation bins getting filled during the game. Full community spirit in action.

On the way back from Calgary, Santa was hungry and needed to eat before the sensory Christmas. I stopped at McDonald’s to order my food, and someone offered to pay for my meal as appreciation for making people smile. I really appreciated hearing that, I didn’t know what to say but thank you.

If you happen to get a picture with Santa at the hockey game, feel free to share it on this post or tag The Airdrie Santa in your posts. I would love to see the smiles.

Love,
Santa

There’s still some spots left to book your Santa visit to your home or party this holiday season, in support of the Airdrie Food Bank in Keith Wilkinson’s memory. All we ask is a food or cash donation to the food bank in exchange for the visit in the comfort of your own home and away from the crowds.
