The Fraser Valley Community Winds is a community-based registered charity under the Abbotsford Concert Band Society. The FVCW prides itself on being a welcoming, dynamic place for musicians of all walks of life to come together to make music. Through rehearsals and performance, we strive to develop our musical skill, learn and grow together as a community, have fun, and play our part in the ensemb

le as well as in the greater community. We have been part of the music community in the Fraser Valley for nearly sixty years, playing a wide assortment of music from marches to dance music to symphonic festival pieces at just about any sort of community event where music can lift the heart. Members of our band include musicians of ages in their teens to eighties and range from people who like to keep up with their hobby to musicians with a career in the field. If you took band in school or learned later, the FVCW is a great way to utilize and refine the skills you've learned while having fun. We are always looking for new intermediate to advanced players of all ages. The FVCW rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm in Abbotsford, BC. Also follow us on Twitter
