CHASE THE FUN 2025 RETURNS TO ITS ORIGINAL LOCATION:
THE CHASE COMMUNITY HALL

This year's Chase the Fun square & round dance weekend, June 13 to 15, will return to its original location, the Chase Community Hall, 547 Shuswap Avenue in Chase, B.C. (Google map link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/yx1td7pViATnLHvJA)

Chairperson Marilyn Puff has published the following welcome:

Hello Dancers, Callers and Cuers:

The excitement is building! The volunteers are gathering gift baskets and muffins. We are looking forward to the hall buzzing with our dancers, friends and family at Chase the Fun 2025.

It is so much fun to see friends and make many new ones from around the country and from south of the border! We would prefer pre-registration. If you can let us know you are coming that would be great; you can also register at the door.

The delicious catered dinner deadline is May 31st. If you would like to join us for the dinner, please send your registration in before then. The catered dinner is not included in the weekend rate as you will see on the registration form and we need to let our caterer know our numbers.

We'll have a Solo Board for those who would like to meet the other Solo dancers. You can sign up for that at the door when you register. You will receive a White Solo ribbon as well. We will make sure you know how the Board works.

Maybe you know Steve Edlund, who is our featured caller and, if you have not danced with Steve before, you are in for a treat! He is a wonderfully skilled caller, with a fun sense of humor and a great singer, too.

Sandy Meyer is our Cuer and she does a fabulous job of leading you through your round dancing.

There is a great Panel of Callers on Sunday morning!

Both Friday and Saturday night there is a Social after the dance, including cake or pies, tea and coffee or decaf if you like!

There is a cold breakfast served Saturday morning featuring muffins, fruit, and yogurt.

We are dancing at the Chase Hall in Chase, B.C., which has a beautiful floor and good acoustics. There's lots of room; in years past there have been many squares in the Chase Hall.

There is lots of room for dry camping and the Lions Club Campground is just down the street and that's available for booking for RV spots with services. Room accommodations are limited. Here's a list of possibilities:

- Chase Country Inn - http://www.chasecountryinn.ca 250-679-3333
- Overlander Motel - https://www.overlandermotel.com 250-679-8633

- Lions Campround & RV Park - 250-679-8470
- Also, you can check for Air BnB properties in Sorrento or the North Shuswap (about 15 - 20 min's away)
