The MCFD Rent Supplement is OPEN and closes on March 20, 2023, at 11:59 PM.

Rent Supplement Facts:
• Applications will be accepted through an online portal.
• Eligible young adults will be able to apply for a $600-a-month rent supplement to assist them with rental costs in the private housing market as they transition to adulthood.
• If young adults are on an AYA/TSA they are eligible for the MCFD rent supplement.
• 50% of rent supplements are available to Indigenous young adults.
• The rent supplement program is needs-based in order to prioritize the most vulnerable young adults and will be on a first-come first-served basis once Indigeneity and income criteria are determined.

The Orange Door Project campaign is The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s bi-annual fundraising campaign to help prevent and end youth homelessness in Canada. From now until December 18th you can donate at the checkout in the Abbotsford Home Depot or on OrangeDoorProject.ca in support of the YRC at Archway Community Services.

Every dollar donated by customers in Abbotsford will stay in our local community and support the YRC.
