This National Child and Youth Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that sport is more than just a game - it’s confidence, connection, and a powerful boost for mental well-being.

We know sport participation improves mental health outcomes as an early mental health intervention.

At KidSport, we believe sport participation is integral to a child’s wellbeing and that means we need to break down barriers for ALL kids to play. Because when kids play, they thrive.

Volunteers help champion the KidSport cause in communities across the province. Many of them have been involved for 5, 10, or even 15+ years, giving countless hours to raising funds to support kids in their local community .

This we're thankful for all them and the work they do so more kids can experience the many benefits of sport.
