Our story

Welcome to UFV’s one and only outdoors and hiking club!

We put on events for UFV students, alumni, and friends to participate in outdoor group activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, outdoor yoga, meditation, kayaking, canoeing, etc.

We call ourselves SLOW because our goal isn't to get to the end of the hike the fastest; we like to experience our surroundings, look around at the views, eat a snack or two and take as many breaks for water as needed.

Check out our events which offers carpooling if you’re unable to drive yourself.
