We loved this session on the relationship between the worship leader and senior pastor.

A healthy church culture cares more about the person than what that person can do.

Relationship before roles.
People before platform.
Being before doing.

The healthiest ministry cultures understand that what we do for God should always flow out of who we are in Him. When things become purely transactional, the life and health that relationship was intended to carry eventually stops flowing into the team and ultimately into the Church.

Healthy ministry is built on humility, honor, trust, communication, and shared vision. We’re not building our own kingdoms…we’re serving His together.

A schedule doesn’t determine our commitment and connection to the house of God. Our relationship with Jesus and our understanding of His Word does.

When we truly understand the beauty of being connected to the body of Christ and planted in the local church, showing up ceases to be an obligation…it becomes holy surrender and a sacrifice of joyful praise.

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:13 NKJV

Planted worshippers are flourishing worshipers!
