Thank you Wonder Women Society for your support in helping Gathering Markit make good food go far!

Wonder Women Society is proud to support women’s organizations all across BC who are doing powerful, compassionate work to uplift women and strengthen our communities.

Today WWS Founder Andrea Critchley presented Gathering Markit
with a $10,000 cheque to support families in our community with healthy and nourishing meals. This generous gift will help ensure that families facing difficult circumstances have access to the care and support they need during challenging times.

People seem to fall into two camps when it comes to Galas: love them or hate them.
We’ve decided to turn tradition upside down and give our donors a reason to love Galas again—at least this one.

Nov 4th we are hosting our second annual Hope Launched.
An Upside-Down Gala for the Women of the Gathering Markit.

November 4th | 6:00 PM

This is more than a fundraiser. Hope Launched is an elegant evening where generosity meets purpose, and where every seat at the table represents dignity and the power of community.

What this means? No fancy dinner, stuffy suits, gowns or swag bag for the donor.
Instead a woman who needs some encouragement gets to be lifted up. The women of the Markit get all dressed up and enjoy a 4 course meal, an evening of entertainment and fun all served up by the donors.
That's it!

An Upside down Gala where the guests gets all the perks and the donors are the cooks and the servers. Now that's a Gala EVERYONE can love!

Here’s how you can make an unforgettable impact:

$100 gives one woman the chance to attend

$600 sponsors a full table of six women

Or step into a unique role:
Help in the Kitchen or Be a Server for $500

Every guest invests too—paying $10 for her seat. Because this night isn’t about handouts. It’s about partnership, empowerment, and hope launched.

Join us in creating a night to remember for the women of Gathering Markit, and for the community that surrounds them.

Fund the GOOD!
Help us make sure a family walking through our doors gets our very best today, tomorrow, and every day!

When you support the Markit you are helping us flip the script on food insecurity.
We can make a difference and offer a cup of coffee while customers shop, have fresh flowers at the till, create thoughtful packaging and provide professional service. Because people deserve our best.
Will you help us fund the GOOD?
