Are you looking for a great summer job right here in our community? Seine River Minor Ball is looking for energetic, hard-working students to join our Green Team for the 2026 season!
Help us keep the diamonds at Optimist Park in top shape for our players from Ile des Chenes, Lorette, St. Adolphe, and Grande Pointe.
Available Positions:
We have several opportunities available through various community grants:
• General Summer Staff (Manitoba Green Team & Canada Summer Jobs)
• Métis Summer Student Position (Supported by the Métis Grant)
Who Should Apply?
• Age: 16–25 years old.
• For the Métis Grant: Applicants must be Métis.
• For all roles: You should enjoy being outdoors, working as part of a team, and supporting local minor ball!
Why Join Us?

✅ Gain valuable experience in community recreation and park maintenance.

Hey Everyone,

Just an update about the park.
Lots of stuff going on. We are upgrading the backstops on D4 and D5 as well as new dugouts on D5. We are also installing a sunscreen on the outside of the outfield fence so that the sun is not blinding to the catcher, batter and umpire. This will be a significant addition to the safety of the park. Additionally we have plans to install protective covering on the top of the fencing on D6 also for diamond safety.
We are also taking steps towards budgeting for lights on 2 diamonds to extend games later into the evening.

On behalf of Seine River Minor Ball, we would like to extend our gratitude to Titan Environmental for their generous donation of $13000. As we rebrand Seine River as the Titans, the money will support in purchasing 375 New Jerseys and Hats for our association.

It’s that time of year again.
Registration is open for all Baseball, Softball, Rally Cap and Learn to Play activities.
We also have umpire clinics available for 12 year olds and up for those they want to make some extra money.
We are hosting at least 9 events on the weekends from May through September. Volunteers are always welcome.

Seine RIver Minor Ball wants to recognize and thank Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation for their generous contributions in support of purchasing our side by side along with our sod cutter. This equipment will support in our diamond maintenance now and into the foreseeable future to make safe places for kids to enjoy the sports of baseball and softball.
