Beauty out of Ashes is a long-term residential foster home for girls. Moved from Haiti to Belize.

Beauty out of Ashes mission is to transform the lives of marginalized girls in Haiti, especially the vulnerable children affected by the natural disasters, that have increased the level of poverty. Many of these girls have either been in sold into slavery (restevaks) or are homeless street children. Our goal is to give these girls a home, where we can share the love of Jesus with them, as well as provide the resources, training, education and support to break the cycle of poverty. By doing this we pray that they will grow to be productive adults, who can in turn make a difference in the lives of others.

Please pray for Sterline who has had an exciting week. We celebrated her baptism last weekend, and this weekend she had emergency surgery to remove her appendix. We appreciate your prayers for her recovery, words of encouragement and celebration, and we would ask that you prayerfully consider supporting our ministry.

We are so excited and proud of Lisa, today she took the step of obedience and was baptized. The baptism took place at Mennonite Beach in Spanish Lookout.
Our prayer for you Lisa is to grow into the woman that God wants you to be, courageous and continually searching his will for your life.

Angie and Emmanuella have officially graduated Grade 12 — and they ranked #1 and #2 in their class for Biology and Chemistry. Their determination and excellence shine so brightly.
What an incredible achievement for two incredible young women. 🎓✨

Congratulations to Darline, she graduated to High School. She had an 88% average for the year. We are so proud of you, for all the hard work you put into your studies this year. Best of luck in Grade 9.

GICA won the Spanish Lookout girls soccer tournament. Saraphina and Lisa both played on the team. The score was 2-0 and Saraphina had both goals, she was on cloud 9!

Today our dear Lisa turns 18 😎. Wow where did the years go, just like that you are an adult. We are very proud of you, you are a talented artist, awesome at designing and drawing clothing and your true gift is fixing peoples’s hair. We Love you and wish you an amazing year. May God bless you and keep you as you navigate your path here on earth. Keep smiling
