Green Iguana Conservation Project Ranked #1 thing to do on TripAdvisor! Guests can choose an Iguana to adopt and receive quarterly updates on their Iggy’s progress.

Located at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel, the Green Iguana Conservation Project is an open-air, sanctuary style exhibit that aims to educate visitors of all ages about the importance of the threatened Green Iguana in Belize. Our project focuses on conserving, protecting, and the eventual release of the endangered Green Iguana specie into the wild. Visitors are also able to ‘Adopt an Iguana’, a program that aims to raise funds to provide tuition scholarships for local children. Call 824-2034 or email us at [email protected] to book your tour.
