I'm sure we've been missed dearly. We take this time to update our active and new patients that we currently have a substantially long waiting list. This post serves to let everyone know our process when applying to be added to our list.

1. Personal information will be gathered to create a patient file for each individual who reaches out.

D.O.B
Level of Amp (above or below knee)
Side of Amp (left or right leg)
Reason for Amp
Date of Amp
Height
Weight
Shoe size
Contact #

2. After all relevant information is submitted, ( please try to submit in a timely manner to secure a space). We receive new patients every single day and they will then be added to our list.

3. They are added and seen by the date we receive that information. Not by how long the person has had the limb amputated. We do this so that everyone has a fair chance of getting seen.

4. We do not operate our clinic on a daily basis. Our clinicians come to Belize 3-4 times per year (each year varies due to availability of volunteers).

5. If you do not receive a call from us please feel free to always check in and request an update.

Currently we have not seen any patients since our last team was here in January. We are working diligently to get another team together so we can proceed to shorten that said waiting list.

A prosthetic leg is very important to those who need to get back to life. And we hope and ask that you bare a little more patience with us.

Another successful Mission completed. We saw 27 patients, made 10 limbs ( 3 above knee, 6 below knee & 1 arm). Very grateful to be able to help the people of Belize. Please note we have a very long list of waiting patients. We will see everyone as quickly as we can. We just ask for a little patience with us 🙏💚💙
