Community members and youth from the REAL Project came together for two hands-on sessions that turned simple materials into learning, culture, and new skills.

They learned different cruceta techniques and practised creating decorative figures and designs. Stitch by stitch, they built patience, precision, creativity, and handcrafting skills, while exploring how embroidery can support cultural expression and income opportunities.

Beyond the final pieces, these sessions created space for teamwork, learning, confidence, and community connection.
Small skills can open big opportunities, and at the Community Hub, creativity continues to bring people together.
